When using regular (powdered, or colloidal) minerals, it is estimated that the human body will be able to breakdown and absorb 1 - 5 percent. These mini-minerals are close to 100% absorbable. Therefore, the RDA does not apply.*
For example, if the RDA of a mineral is 2,000 mg per day, to derive how much mini-mineral you need: multiply by a probably 1 percent absorption rate to get your answer. 2,000 x 1% = 20 mg.*

If the Angstrom Magnesium alone still isn't relieving your leg cramps, then add this potassium to your juice, smoothie or water bottle.
Remember that both coconut water and Emergen-C already contain a substantial amount of potassium, so adjust dosage if you are adding to either of those.
Magnesium is especially important for people with IBD to both avoid intestinal spasming and cramping and to reduce inflammation, and most people with IBD also need extra potassium for similar reasons.
Since this potassium is picometere-sized (angstrom/nanoparticle-sized) it does not require digestion and therefore it does not stimulate bowel movements or loose stools - very important if you tend towards diarrhea! Yet it does help the rectum/anus (sphincter muscles) to relax whilst defecating, so picometre-sized potassium and magnesium are a help if you tend to anal spasm, stricture, or stenosis.
