When using regular (powdered, or colloidal) minerals, it is estimated that the human body will be able to breakdown and absorb 1 - 5 percent. These mini-minerals are close to 100% absorbable. Therefore, the RDA does not apply.*

For example, if the RDA of a mineral is 2,000 mg per day, to derive how much mini-mineral you need: multiply by a probably 1 percent absorption rate to get your answer. 2,000 x 1% = 20 mg.*

Reduce Stress with Magnesium

Our modern life subjects us to almost constant stress. The problem is that stress can wear our body down leading to disease. Magnesium is a powerful natural tranquilizer. It aids in relaxing nerves, relieving tension and lowering blood pressure. It is widely known as Nature's muscle relaxant. By relieving stress and reducing blood pressure, magnesium can help support healthy cardiovascular function.*

If you have a magnesium deficiency, or leg cramps, or heart muscle problems then you may find this increased potency magnesium more effective. I also prefer this higher concentration because I just add 1 capful to my coconut water, or an Emergen-C packet - so I get a higher (yet instantly absorbed) dose without too much of a taste impact and I don't need to get out a measuring spoon!

Magnesium is especially important for people with IBD to both avoid intestinal spasming and cramping and to reduce inflammation. Most people with IBD also need extra potassium for similar reasons.

Since this magnesium is picometere-sized (angstrom/nanoparticle-sized) it does not require digestion and therefore it does not cause bowel movements or loose stools - very important if you tend towards diarrhea!

As Dr. Carolyn Dean MD ND says: "Researchers concluded that: 'High magnesium intake is associated with lower concentrations of certain markers of systemic inflammation and endothelial dysfunction in postmenopausal women.(1) In my world, the most common cause of systemic inflammation is yeast overgrowth coupled with diet and lifestyle toxicity. Endothelial dysfunction occurs when the smooth muscles lining blood vessels are in spasm because of magnesium deficiency. By remaining rigid, they drive up blood pressure and can cause stroke and heart attacks! So, if you've been waiting around for absolute proof that magnesium is beneficial, then there it is." So if you tend towards diarrhea, then this is an ideal way to get your magnesium (40% of Americans are deficient in magnesium) without irritating your bowels. The other way that would work is transdermally (through the skin), by putting Magnesium Oil into your bath water.

This is the only magnesium I can take. No bowel problems, and can meet my high daily needs
