Amount per Packet: 235 mg magnesium citrate.

Directions: Place powder in a glass or mug; add 2-3 ounces of hot water. Let it fizz then stir until dissolved. Fill glass with warm or cold water and enjoy. You can also simply add Natural Calm to a glass or bottle of cold water.

Suggested Use: Adults; Individual needs will vary. Start with 1 packet or less daily. When bowels are comfortably loose, this is the optimal amount. If diarrhea should occur, this is a sign of excess intake. Simply reduce dose to establish the optimal amount as above. Can be taken with or without food. Allergen-free

Here's What Jini Says

If you suffer from constipation, this magnesium is fantastic. It is quite well tolerated and easy to drink because it's tasty (if you like lemonade). It's ease of use is the best thing about it for me.

I also give it to my kids on occasion when they're bunged up from travelling.

If you need high amounts of magnesium citrate to stimulate a bowel movement and/or you find it gives you tummy pains, then you are better off getting the magnesium citrate capsules and mixing them into a whey protein or Absorb Plus shake. The whey protein will help to buffer the magnesium so it doesn't cause any pain, nausea, etc.

For daily magnesium intake, or muscle cramps though, I use either the nano-sized magnesium or Bone Support - which don't affect the bowels.
