You can use these hemp hearts to make your own hemp milk, or you can add a tablespoon or two to any smoothie for a protein boost and delicious creaminess.

Here’s my favorite smoothie recipe using these hemp hearts (use Vitamix or Nutribullet blender) and ingredients that last well in the fridge:

Jini’s Breakfast Smoothie

- Add the following Certified Organic produce to your blender: 2 sticks celery, the same amount of fennel, handful of parsley, 1 small apple, 1-2 tbsp hemp hearts, 1 tbsp Udo’s or Flax oil, squeeze of lemon, filtered or spring water

- Add a tiny scoop stevia to sweeten if desired (about 1/16 tsp)

- Blend until smooth

Serves 1-2

Delicious and Energizing!

I drink this in my truck on the way to my horses and it gives me enough energy to easily do 3-4 hours of physical labor. My horses love it too! :)
