Pycnogenol is extracted from the bark of a special species of pine tree. It is an extremely potent antioxidant. Like many of my supplements, I empty the capsule into my Absorb Plus or whey protein shake in the morning.

If you can't afford pycnogenol, then use grape seed extract instead. For myself, I like to alternate between the two and then I also take them together with CoQ10.
