Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a mushroom that is well-known for its numerous health benefits! </p>
Growing mainly on the bark of birch trees in Northern Europe, Siberia, Russia, Korea, Northern Canada, and Alaska, it has been known to lower inflammation, support immunity, and hold a high level of antioxidants-amongst many other health benefits!
Chaga mushrooms are also rich in a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, including:
B-complex vitamins
vitamin D
potassium
rubidium
cesium
amino acids
My assistant Linsy uses this product to treat her ulcerative colitis, boost her immunity, and ensure that inflammation is reduced throughout her body. Even her physician recommends this amazing mushroom to his patients with IBD!
She likes it because Chaga mushroom extract has been known to suppress edema (swelling) and mucosal damage within the gut - and has an anti-inflammatory effect at sites in the colon and rectum. It helped her with inflammation she had in the lower colon/rectum from her ulcerative colitis.
She has also found Chaga to be beneficial in helping strengthen her immune system. Whenever she feels under the weather, she takes an extra dose of this powder and feels better very quickly!
Her preferred way of using this product is to take a few drops (or a half dropper full, max) of this extract and add it to her homemade “Mucosal Healing” Tea Recipe:
Linsy’s Mucosal Healing Tea
Open up a MucosaCalm capsule into a cup of hot water (98 degrees is preferable, body temperature, so not too hot).
(Optional) Add a small amount of organic honey. You can also use stevia if you prefer, or Jini’s favorite monk fruit sweetener (luo han guo)
Add in George's Aloe Vera - about 1 oz of that to the cup of hot water
Add a few drops or a half dropper of Chaga tincture to the cup of tea
