Jini Says +

It is an implant, or retention enema, so the goal is to retain the mixture until all the liquid is absorbed. This colon enema can stop light to moderate colonic bleeding in as few as one or two applications. I’ve even used it to stop severe hemorrhaging – nothing heals wounds faster than comfrey!

For mild to moderate colonic bleeding, 1 to 3 applications should be sufficient (if you’re also following The IBD Remission Diet). This home enema kit comes with a disposable enema bag, because the applicator tips on disposable bags are much thinner than on regular ones – in case your rectum is wounded or inflamed, or for children. You can also re-use the disposable enema bag, if you wish (I do!), and just rinse it with hot soapy water between uses. Keep the powdered herbs in a cool, dry place to maintain maximum potency between uses (they’ll keep for 14 months or more).

NOTE: This implant enema is most effective if you are on an elemental or completely liquid diet. It will likely still work if you are eating regular foods, but it will likely take longer to get the bleeding stopped. And then the wounds may re-open when your next solid food passes through your colon.

Important: Professional herbalists and naturopathic physicians take a very different stance on comfrey use from the established authorities. Many herbalists and NDs feel it's safe to use comfrey as long as you don't use it continually, long-term. Therefore, they say you can use it in moderate doses for 3 to 6 months, then take a break of 1 month to allow the liver to cleanse properly, then you can resume use for 3 to 6 months, etc. as needed. Comfrey has become one of the FDA's targeted substances - likely due to its effectiveness, so when you do your research, keep that in mind.

The concerns over comfrey damaging the liver pertain to long-term use. And in comparison to how many pharmaceutical drugs damage the liver, it is minor (in my opinion). Remember that 7,000 people die each year from Aspirin. In the entire history of comfrey usage there has only been 1 woman who died and she was very sick already, with various illnesses. She drank numerous cups of comfrey tea all day long for many days in a row. Did she die from her many diseases, or from the comfrey, or from excessive use of comfrey? No one knows. But compare that to any of the stats on drug deaths and it's inconsequential, in my opinion.

However, if you are concerned about this, or your gut is telling you not to use comfrey, then you can still do the implant enema without using the comfrey powder. The herbs are each contained in a separate bag in the kit, and you can replace the comfrey with calendula powder. It will still be beneficial (especially if you simultaneously take MucosaHeal and George's Aloe Vera Juice), but will probably take longer to stop the bleeding in the colon.

Jini's Healing Implant Enema is an implant, or retention, enema. So the goal is to retain the mixture until all the liquid is absorbed. This home enema kit contains that fantastic wound healer comfrey, so it's excellent for helping to stop bleeding from the colon fast.  Nothing heals wounds faster than comfrey! For mild to moderate colon bleeding, 1 to 3 applications should be sufficient (if you're also on The IBD Remission Diet) but there are enough herbs in this kit for 20-25 applications as it is the smallest size that the manufacturer carries.

This kit contains:
Certified Organic Comfrey Root Powder (4 oz)

Certified Organic Marshmallow Root Powder (4 oz)
Certified Organic Slippery Elm Bark Powder (4 oz)
2 disposable enema bag (1500 ml), tube, clamp and applicator tip
2 disposable leak-proof pad
1 Enema Bottle (4 oz)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Full application instructions are emailed to you upon purchase. If you don't receive the email or it gets lost, please contact us and we would be happy to send you another copy ASAP!

Disposable enema bags were chosen because their tip is much thinner than regular enema bags. However, you can re-use them as often as you want as long as you rinse them thoroughly with hot, soapy water, rinse again with clear hot water, and clean the tip well. We've also included an enema bottle as an additional option.

Implant Enema

I just recently started to use this implant enema since I seem to have more blood in the stool after starting some of the protocol's listed in "Listen To Your Gut." The bleeding had pretty much stopped prior to using some of the products listed, so I'm not sure what has caused the reoccurrence. I used to use a combination of comfrey leaf tea and shepherd's purse as an enema to get the bleeding under control. Today I made a tea of the same and used 2 cups of the tea instead of plan water with the implant enema of comfrey root powder, marshmallow root powder and slippery elm powder. Hoping to see results as Shepherd's Purse has been shown to stop bleeding and comfrey is the best healing herb that I've ever come across. I also probably need to reintroduce some of the products back in gradually to determine if there might be one that is contributing to the increase in bleeding.
