In choosing your Absorb Plus flavor, please note that SIMPLY is sweetened with dextrose and stevia, UNSWEETENED has flavors but no added sweeteners, and the rest of the flavors are sweetened with natural fructose and stevia.

Absorb Plus is a delicious tasting, 100% natural, semi-elemental (pre-digested for maximum absorption to bloodstream within 20 minutes of ingestion) polymeric liquid dietary supplement protein shake. 370 calories per serving.

Custom-blend of 10 additional targeted amino acids, for example:
• Over 1000 mg of L-Glutamine per serving to rebuild mucosal cell lining in intestines
• L-Serine for production of immunoglobulins and antibodies
• L-Threonine to aid the formation of collagen and elastin
• L-Cysteine to aid wound healing
• L-Tyrosine to aid the function of pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid glands
• L-Aspartic Acid to protect the liver
• L-Proline to aid cartilage, strengthen joints, tendons, and heart muscle
Our vitamin and mineral panel:
• Full panel of trace minerals – trace mineral deficiency is common in chronic illness.
• Also contains 10 mcg Vitamin K2 (as MK-7; first identified by Dr. Weston A. Price as “Activator X”) and 100 mcg of potassium citrate per serving.
• Contains full electrolyte panel.
Formulated to allow people to add their own amount of good fat – since everyone’s fat tolerance level varies. We suggest adding 1 tbsp. organic flax or Udo’s Choice oil.

Absorb Plus was formulated by colon and bowel disorder expert Jini Patel Thompson to provide maximum nutrition to help build and strengthen your immune system and allow you to maintain or gain solid weight (muscle, not fat). Absorb Plus provides nutrients, supplements, protein (cold-extracted whey protein isolate), and carbohydrates (tapioca maltodextrin - from cassava root) in the most desirable forms and proportions, and in ratios that allow for optimum use and absorption. This liquid diet protein shake also includes an extensive array of therapeutic free-form amino acids (over 1000 mg L-Glutamine per serving!), with a superior vitamin and mineral profile (including trace minerals). There are approximately 10 servings per jar - sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a little bit less as Absorb Plus is packed by weight and there can be some settling during shipping and storage. Start with half a serving and build up gradually, allowing your body time to adjust.

I recently made a purchase on Tuesday, March 12, at 9:34 AM. After experiencing positive results with Absorb Plus during an elemental fast in August 2022, where I found relief for the first time in years, I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, my recent experience was far from what I had hoped for. I purchased the coconut cream and banana + unsweetened vanilla flavors. Despite following the instructions on the bottle and adding oil as suggested, I encountered severe acidity issues.
The symptoms I experienced after drinking Absorb Plus were severe and debilitating. I suffered from severe headaches, heart palpitations, dizziness, and severe brain fog. Additionally, I experienced stomachaches and severe cramps, as well as a burning sensation and itching from hemorrhoids. Even my suppositories couldn't provide relief. I found myself unable to move, confined to bed all day long. The symptoms left me unable to think clearly or focus, and I couldn't eat or drink anything.
While I appreciate the recommendation, I would advise caution to others considering this product. It would be greatly appreciated if I could receive a refund as compensation for the pain and discomfort I endured.

We understand that you have used the product before with positive results, but we also acknowledge that adjusting to an entirely new food source can be challenging. It is highly recommended to start with a smaller serving and gradually increase the dosage to prevent discomfort due to the die-off effect or intolerance. Unfortunately, those two things can look/feel the same so we will send you a full guide about this via email.
Also, keep in mind that food tolerances change, according to many factors. So it is always better to start with a sample size and test for tolerance first. We will be emailing you with some alternate samples for you to try. And Jini also has some food-based options that might work well for you.
First of all, let me say I have never had a protein shake that I drank and it set soo well in my stomach!! I am having a flare of my Crohn's and seems like a ton of food the never bothered me does now.... I was hoping this wouldn't and it didn't, praise the Lord!!
I use this unsweetened vanilla with the sweetened versions occasionally when I want a shake that is not so sweet. That is something that I struggle with after 2 shakes I want something savory, bone broth helps but doesn't totally cut it. I absolutely love putting 2 scoops of this with 2 scoops of French vanilla. It makes it creamy and just slightly sweet. YUM!

Also a note to mention, I started by drinking 2 shakes a day while eating other easy to digest food and gained 5 pounds in one week!!! Previously I hadn't been able to gain anything even while eating easy to digest food. So if you are underweight like me I highly recommend!!! The energy it gives you is not a high but a steady energy which i love. I have had other protein shakes that gave me a high and that is no fun.

I have always had a bad gut and was never able to find a good protein powder/meal replacement that didn’t make me sick…
So I kept seeing the LTYG ads and decided to give it a try and I am astonished that I can drink it with my oat milk in the morning and it’s filling and satiating and didn’t make me sick…

My son loves the simply chocolate. It might be his favorite, mixed half and half with unsweetened coco-choc (vegan). He says it's probably the only flavor he would do all-sweetened with. Regarding Absorb Plus in general, this is all he's been consuming for the last month, and he has regained 5 of the 8 pounds he lost dueing this last flare. He was in full-on rest mode for several weeks, but is now feeling more strength and energy. (We are working on low energy levels as well.)
Has really helped me get my symptoms under control.
I love the taste, but I only used 2 scoops instead of the recommended 4. This was due to the price of the product. Other than the price I really enjoy it.
My son has Crohns and ended up with some complications with the flavor I purchased for him and they went so far out of their way to help me find a flavor that he could enjoy. So thankful!!!

If you haven't already, you might prefer one of our Unsweetened varieties, which many customers who are sensitive to sweet flavors enjoy.
We've also heard from some customers who find that mixing a sweeter flavor with one of the Unsweetened flavors helps create a more balanced taste that's easier to enjoy.

Terrible shipping process. Very unreliable
The first time I used Absorb Plus was 23 years ago when I had my first Crohn's flare-up. I went over 18 years without another one. I started using Absorb Plus several months ago, and it has helped maintain my weight and energy. I now use it once a day or every several days as I start to reintroduce foods and change my diet.
This has helped my son with Crohn’s. He does a shake every morning. Unsweetened vanilla with frozen fruit and almond milk. Has been a great supplement for him.

Had Ulcerative Colitis a good 20 or so years ago and was ready to have surgery when I came across Imix Naturals and Absorb Plus through extensive online research.. At one point I ate virtually nothing else for 6 weeks, along with flax seed oil, allowing my body to heal.
Have been using it ever since and have been in remission for a good 18 or so years. Still have a shake every morning for breakfast. Been a life savor and have turned other sufferes on to your books and products.
Absorb Plus is helping me gain weight and get the proper nutrients after a long Crohn's flair. I'm enjoying trying the different flavors. Banana Coconut Creme is by far my favorite!
I am really grateful for this product has helped me feel better and has been one of the tools to help gain my energy back.
I was very disappointed in this particular flavor because it was way too sweet. Especially compared to the Horchata, which is perfect but out of stock. I am very sensitive to all kinds of sugars and for me it was inedible. I’m much prefer and it’s healthier for me to have your unsweetened products. I am unable to eat anything with caffeine because of bladder and kidney issues so the unsweetened chocolate is unfortunately not an option for me

You’re absolutely right that the caramel flavor can taste quite sweet, especially if you’re very sensitive to sugars. One option many customers find helpful is mixing 1 scoop (or even half a scoop) of Caramel Absorb Plus with an unsweetened Absorb Plus flavor. It tends to mellow the sweetness nicely while still keeping the flavor enjoyable. Just to reassure you, there’s no added sugar in the caramel -the sweetness comes only from the natural flavoring itself.

Absorb Plus is the best! I’ve been using it for 25
The product is absolutely wonderful. BUT, the pricing has become a heavy burden. With smaller discounts and less incentive to order more. Buy three and get “one” 25% off? Come on. What happened to buying 4 and get 5th free. Or whatever it was. Now we have to buy 7 to get one free? And absolutely no Black Friday deals on it. I spent 4500 dollars on absorb plus last year. Why not offer me a better price discount as an incentive to stay loyal? I’ve also received many of them crush and damaged.

To give a bit more background: Absorb Plus is made with very high-quality whey and specialty ingredients. Since COVID, the cost of whey protein alone has increased dramatically (up to tenfold in some cases), and freight and warehousing costs have also gone up sharply. We’ve been working very hard to absorb as much of that as we can and keep the price of Absorb Plus down, but we are under real pressure from higher production and logistics costs.

Wonderful taste, with the Udos accompanying the shake it increases calories and my nutrition. I would ideally like to have 2 shakes a day, but the cost rather limits me on that :0(
