Product Description

TriEnza™️ is a broad-spectrum formulation that combines the best of our AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime, and No-Fenol into one product.

  • Broad-spectrum enzyme product supports digestion of gluten, casein, soy, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and polyphenols
  • Includes the DPP IV ("DPP 4") enzyme to support the digestion of gluteomorphin (from gluten) and casomorphin (from dairy casein)
  • Includes all the enzymes for protein digestion from AFP Peptizyde
  • Includes enzymes for carbohydrates, starches, proteins, and fats from Zyme Prime
  • Includes 1/2 the enzymes from No-Fenol (xylanase) for fruits and vegetables high in polyphenols

Two (2) capsules* of TriEnza contain:

  • All the protease enzymes for protein digestion from AFP Peptizyde
  • All the enzymes (except some cellulase) for carbohydrates, starches, proteins, and fats from Zyme Prime
  • Half (1/2) the enzymes from No-Fenol (xylanase) for certain fruits and vegetables high in phenols
  • Available in capsules, chewable tablets, and powder

*1 mg of MCT oil is added per 600 mg as an excipient to minimize the enzyme powder from becoming airborne.  MCT oil is derived from palm kernel oil.

No more splitting capsules to get "half doses". One capsule (one-half dose) makes starting enzymes easier.

Ingredients (per 2 digestive enzymes capsules):

Peptidase with DPP IV.............60,000 HUT
DPP IV............................... .1,200 DPPU
Protease 4.5.........................65,000 HUT
Protease 6.0.........................25,000 HUT
Amylase.................................12,000 DU
Glucoamylase.............................25 AGU
Alpha-galactosidase...................200 GalU
Xylanase...............................16,000 XU
Beta-glucanase...........................30 BGU
Lactase..................................1500 ALU
Lipase......................................500 FIP

Other Ingredients: Vegetable capsule (cellulose and water), and microcrystalline cellulose (cellulose, and MCT oil derived from palm oil). No added sugar, starch, rice, dairy, soy, wheat, yeast, gluten, nuts, artificial flavors, or animal derivatives.

Does not contain: gluten, casein, soy, rice, MSG, salicylates, sugars, yeast, animal derivatives, artificial colors or any fillers.

Dosage: Take 2 Tri-Enza digestive enzyme capsules with meals, or as needed. No upper limit has been established for digestive enzyme supplement dosing, and animal studies with similar enzymes found no toxicity at dosing as high as 2000 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day for 90 days. Most find using 2 to 4 capsules per meal adequate, and most likely no further benefits will occur with higher dosing, though more may be given for the infrequent and large food challenges. Each person is different so we encourage some experimentation to find the dose that best helps each person.

Take Houston digestive enzymes with the first few bites of the meal or just prior to mealtime.  But if you do not take a digestive enzyme at the beginning of a meal, then you should still take it during or after eating. Food stays in the stomach for up to 3 hours. Therefore, introducing digestive enzymes anytime during the meal will still provide benefits. "Grazers" that eat constantly during the day may wish to take their digestive enzymes at fixed dosing intervals, such as every 4 or 5 hours during the day.

Who should use TriEnza?

Anyone who is unable to produce sufficient enzymes for digestion and needs a full-spectrum digestive enzyme to help with both protein, fat and carbohydrate digestion.

Most digestive enzymes are cultured on aspergillus oryzae (mold), but then are not filtered properly and you end up ingesting the spores - this is not good for someone with an unbalanced or susceptible gut flora.

But these Houston Enzymes derived from Aspergillus have been purified from the fungal matter using 8 to 12 different methods of purification. No fungal matter is present in this enzyme product. If you have a known allergy to Aspergillus proteins, then caution should be used in taking any fungal-derived enzyme product, however, the allergenic portions of Aspergillus are usually those parts of the fungi removed from the enzymes during processing.

These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Here's What Jini Says

Ideally, you should get your digestive enzymes from your food (raw foods, fermented foods, homemade yoghurt, etc) and from your body's own production. However, for those times you need some additional support, you can take these natural digestive enzymes with or after meals.

I searched a long time before finding a digestive enzyme supplement that I could recommend, or feel good about taking myself.

*Remember, that if you're having more than 3 bowel movements per day, you will likely not benefit from pills/capsules (gut transit time is too fast) - in that case, best to use the chewables.

  3. Miracle 5 Star Review

I have had a very negative response from every digestive enzyme I have tried. I have really big problems with my digestion right now and enzymes are so important for me but I couldn't take them without getting a fast heart rate and palpitations and absominal pain. The more I read about allergy to digestive enzymes I learned about the filtering of aspergillus and how some aren't held to the same standards. Thank you God I came across your link for Houston Enzymes. I have not had one bad reaction to them and I take 4 with meals and 2 with snacks. Other enzymes I could only take half a capsule due to the side effects. I just couldn't wrap my brain around someone being allergic to enzymes, and I'm not! It was the unfiltered aspergillus I'm convinced! I have a lot of allergies and am very sensitive to everything so it just makes sense. I'm so thankful to have these enzymes and am starting to get my health on track. It's only been a week but I've been through the whole bottle!
